Implementation

Interactive Music on wwise: In this demonstration, I showcase the four types of interactive music in Wwise, integrated into a Unreal project: Game Audio Game. Starting with horizontal resequencing through crossfade, followed by horizontal resequencing using transitions, then vertical layering with additive layers, and finally, vertical layering through swapping.

Perception: A narrative simulation game I directed, featuring innovative sound puzzle mechanics within a spatialized audio environment. Collaborating closely with programmers and audio designers, I contributed to the concept, narrative, implementation, and development of this immersive auditory adventure

Game Audio Game: currently in development as part of my doctoral project, instructs adaptive music principles for video games. Crafted from inception by me, it offers interactive puzzle-solving to learn four key composition strategies. Integrated with professional tools like Wwise and Unreal Engine, it not only bridges theory and practice in interactive music composition but also provides a hands-on learning experience for aspiring game audio designers. Game Audio Game aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice, fostering a deeper understanding of interactive music composition within the gaming industry.

Wwise Unity Integration: This video presents a one-day test project focusing on audio programming within Unity and Wwise. The project highlights the implementation of various sound-related scripts and effects. While I specifically handled the audio programming aspects, the project involved collaboration for other elements. 

I am developing Wwise Basic Tools, a series of Unity-Wwise scripts that will soon be available on the Unity Asset Store. This collection of 15 to 20 tools allows for complete game audio design and implementation without the need for coding, significantly streamlining the process. These tools make it easier for both newcomers and professionals to bring their creative audio designs to life quickly and efficiently.
